Having a beach portrait session taken with your better half is an excellent way to celebrate your love for each other. There are many reasons why couples decide to have their picture taken on the beach. At times, it’s part of an extended family portrait session. After the big group is taken and the individual families, Rob usually photographs the duo beach portraits. Other times, it’s part of a small intimate wedding. Rob’s favorite type of couple’s beach portrait sessions is when they are taken of the grandparents. I know that these portraits are as important as any other type of images that I take during this session. The history, the battles, that we all have in a relationship often shines during this time. Having them walk down the beach holding hands looking at each other, something they may have not done in twenty or more years, always makes for a beautiful reaction.
